A project carried out during a two-week workshop with Le Grand Palais Immersif (Paris), where we were asked to propose an installation for their Venice Revealed exhibition.
With our group, we decided to reincarnate bodies in the middle of the museum by creating Le Pont des Murmures.

Le Pont des Murmures

Venice Revealed aims to be sincere and immersive in the details that 3D Scanning brings to it. Scanned during the pandemic, the Serenissima is revealed both through its architecture and its disembodiment.

Through a new setup, we wish for the visitor’s body to become a tool of revelation, reincarnating the city. We aspire to add a new bodily dimension to the Venice Revealed exhibition.

Visitors enter the experience as they descend the staircase. The light from the projections catches their attention, guiding them along the path to delve into the streets of Venice. Visitors then become actors in the experience.

The souls of the inhabitants are thus reincarnated in the exhibition, thanks to the silhouettes of the visitors. Their presence reveals Venice’s architecture. The experience evolves with the flow of people: the more there are, the more the sounds respond, and the more the visuals light up and shift.

Our project is meant to be dreamlike, offering visitors the opportunity to discover Venice through their own bodies. Through its interactive dimension, the Bridge of Whispers enables a genuine, individual exploration.
